How to update to the new firmware: - Start the browser, we recommend Internet Explorer or Firefox - Access the configuration UI of the DAP-2690 (default IP address: 192.168.0.50, subnet 255.255.255.0) - Click> Firmware and SSL vertification Update - Click on top of the menu on the item "Maintenance" - Go to the "Update firmware from file" and click on the button "Browse" - Select the firmware file (.bin File) - Click on the "Upload" button - After the update is complete the AP needs to reboot Do not perform the update of any D-Link products over a wireless connection! If you do that you risk to permanently damage the AP module! After the update, please perform a factory reset: - Continuously press the reset button, located on the front side of the Access Point, for 10 seconds. - Your settings will be lost and the AP needs to be reconfigured. - Do not install a configuration file from a previous version of a firmware!
