Fixes: - Resolved issue of drives randomly losing connection to the network. - Resolved issue with Internet Explorer 11 displaying inaccurate error messages during a manual firmware update. - Resolved issue of the power up system restore using the reset button not working. - Resolved issue of the dashboard not displaying accurate capacity usage of an attached USB external drive. - Resolved intermittent bootup issue. - Resolved issue of device dashboard screen not displaying after a factory restore in Mac OS X. - Resolved issue of some USB external drives are not mounted. - Resolved issue of slow device performance once an iPhoto library is added to a share. - Resolved issue of ability of a file to be deleted if someone other than the originator of the file renames it. - Allows the removal of Mirrored and Uploaded folders that appear under the Shared Media folders. - Device LED will blink white when an automated file systems check is run and will reset to solid white when the process completes. Updating the firmware on your WD My Cloud: - Download the firmware to your desktop. - Unzip the file and you will find the actual firmware in this format: sq-030002-xxx-2013xxxx.deb. - Save this to your desktop. - Open the WD My Cloud Dashboard UI. - Go to Settings >> Firmware Update. - Under the section Manual Update, click the Update From File button and a window will open. - Browse to where you saved the sq-030002-xxx-2013xxxx.deb file and select it. - You will see a pop up confirming to upgrade your firmware, click Ok. IMPORTANT: - Do not interrupt the firmware upgrade process. - Doing so may cause the device to malfunction or unable to boot. - If you are using the manual update method, do not rename the firmware file. - Doing so will cause the manual update to fail and can corrupt the system
