FIXES: - Warning window and uninstall failure when uninstalling Intel PROSet and "My WiFi" technology. - Invalid warning messages when attempting to enter invalid DHCP ranges. - Client can still get an IP address after disabling "My WiFi Technology" DHCP function with Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) enabled. - Changing a profile's properties forces the WLAN radio to be disabled. - "My WiFi Technology" profile can be setup with a blank WEP password. - "My WiFi Technology" Add New Device user interface inconsistent between launching from system tray versus launching from the "My WiFi Technology" application. - Previously connected device information cannot be removed after uninstall/re-install. - Cannot find 802.11a SSID's after disabling, then re-enabling 802.11a. - Clicking Enable from "My WiFi Technology" user interface takes a long time (around four seconds) to update the user interface. - Wireless LAN radio disabled when user clicks Disconnect on a "My WiFi Technology" profile. - User is unable to Enable "My WiFi Technology" - After disabling wireless LAN via the wireless button and performing a suspend/resume, system cannot re-connect to an access point or activate "My WiFi Technology" PREREQUISITES: - Download and install HP SoftPaq Number sp43391, "Intel PRO/Wireless Drivers for Microsoft Windows Vista," Version 8.20 Rev C, before installing this SoftPaq. - Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or the Microsoft Hotfix for KB932063 is required. For more information about this Hotfix, see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 932063, titled "Several problems occur on a Windows Vista-based computer when you work in a wireless network environment." - Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1, or later, must be installed. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 3. After installation is complete, reboot the system. NOTE: After the files are unpacked, the Setup program runs automatically. If the setup program (setup.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in the download directory.
